ATV-ing in the Big Island’s oldest rainforest, Kapa’au, Hawaii Day 1

October 20, 2017

Had an amazing 3 hour ATV tour down the Kohala Ditch Trail in the oldest rainforest on the Big Island. 22 miles with breathtaking panoramic views from 2,500 feet above the ocean, including a secluded waterfall.

Rode with the lead guide, Keli’i, “Junior.” It was like having my own private tour.

Afterwards we went to Pololu Valley Lookout.

And finally, we had to stop and see the first King Kamehameha I statue.
